One of the few cars I miss from my youth - other than my '88 Fiero - is my Grandpa's Delta 88 I drove (and wrecked) one summer. It did EPIC one-tire burnouts (grandpa was FOREVER bitching at Sears about the alignment on the right rear tire), and it was pimptastick, even in base-level 80's trim.

You can fit A SHIT-TON of mobile teenage party into a Delta 88...and in a pinch, a full-width bench seat upholstered in deep-pile velour isn't a bad place to spend the night.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

About little after I got my 996, my pop bought his CPO ("already depreciated") Bentley Arnage for $110K; he kept it for 6 years and got $30K out of it at the end.

Cars are shitty investments...
98 XK8: Bought new for $72k. Put $15k of wheels and brakes into it. Sold for $20k after 4 years. Current value is $2500.
01 996 C4 Aero: Bought new for $103k. Current value in current condition, $8k if it had to sell fast and maybe $15k if we searched for the right buyer that looked past the paint.
07 328xi: Bought new for $40k. Currently worth $3k if we found a blind buyer.
13 958d: $70k new. ~$15k spent on upgrades. Current value: $22k.

I only regret the BMW cause I've disliked it from day 1, but she paid for it entirely and doesn't want to get rid of it even though I've told her she can get a new 911 and still keep the 996. Who the fuck wants to keep a 12yr old BMW when they are told they can have 2 911s if they get rid of it??? :? :? :?

The EPA determined that their new address was actually just their old address with different software.
