Starlink is a satellite internet constellation being constructed by SpaceX providing satellite Internet access. The constellation will consist of thousands of mass-produced small satellites in low Earth orbit, working in combination with ground transceivers.
Just hope the thousands of "mass-produced satellites" do not have hardened shells so they DO burn up when they start falling from the sky like iguanas out of trees in the cold!

When I lived in Queens, we lived next door to the cable company installation that received the feed from, I guess, satellites. Just giant dishes pointed into the sky, receiving our digital manna from the sky.

When it rained, we lost cable.

I've been watching a couple of Starlink beta users who live in really shitty, snowy places - and so far, the system, even with a paltry number of satellites, seems to be working.

Plus, I'll be able to hack* Billy's Honda from space. Which is nice.

Based on things you have said about your developers in the past, I'm pretty sure this is your entire business model

Based on your success with application delivery platforms, you should be happy we can make your post available to more than 3 simultaneous users. 8-)

Is that what happened to all those Hondas around here that sound like tractors? Also, their wheels are bent funny and get off my lawn.

SoCal is also overrun with Subarus running catless and/or straight pipes. I guess driving what sounds like a lawn tractor with open headers makes all the panties fly off.

Subies!! They already have that pukie noise designed by the engineers. I can't believe the boyz pull the cats or run straight. That has got to sound hideous.

Mine is quiet until the turbro spools up and any bent wheels around here are from the massive pot holes. 20" rims and rubber band tires don't like pot holes. However, I do know what you mean. There are a couple of roller skate looking cars around here with some funky looking caster and camber settings. Makes me wonder how many miles they get per tire.

My old Golf scared the shit out of me and a buddy one time. As I was making a corner the exhaust pipe just before the cat let go. The miles I had to drive before I could get it fixed were probably the most embarrassing in my entire life.

God that car was a POS. In that case the pipe had rusted through and it was only a 3 year old car! I've never had to replace a muffler on a car before or since much less had it's pipes rust through. Trim parts would literally fall off driving down the road. It was terrible.
