Gents,
I’m replacing my injectors and wanted to ask the folks who have 3.8 builds if they’re running stock 996.2 3.6 injectors or the 997 injectors for the added displacement and a corresponding ECU tune to pull fuel at upper end?

I think mine are stock 3.6 injectors and mine is still running on a stock ECU tune. Next time I wander upstairs I'll see if the build info brings further clarity.

I too have a 3.8L motor. As far as I can tell, the stock ECU and injectors were reused when the motor was redone as a 3.8L.

I got an email back from Softronics Scott. He kept it simple. He said with our ECU and 3.8 the engine can’t use all the fuel flow 996 injectors provide with a mild tune. Race/track motor-different animal. Head flow, intake/exhaust volume, etc.
