A lot of spray wax and at least one high-contrast filter went into making it look remotely not-shitty - but thank you!

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

At least my paint is semi-intact and I didn't have to spend a small fortune replacing hazy headlights...

Also, my DNS works.

My DNS would work much better if my management had let us fix glaring problems we'd known about for 8 months, they hadn't then fired effectively all of our DNS knowledge, and then lied to customers to blame it on the engineer that they fired even though it wasn't his fault.

So fuck you for pouring salt soaked in lemon juice into that particular wound.

On a more pleasant note, did drive the 996 for roughly 120 miles yesterday to go to an appointment.

Going up at the tail end of rush hour was great as I was able to do the 55 miles in 60 minutes. It ran way long so I got the full DC beltway experience which took me about 2 hours not including a little side trip for an errand. Given my recent mental state as reflected by my previous post, I feel proud of myself that you all did not hear news stories last night of a maniac 996 driver on a killing spree...

Car may look like shit, but she's still got it where it counts

I sure don't miss those big city drives, but at least you did it in a car that is enjoyable to sit in.

Pro tip: spray wax before you take the photos, and filters afterwards.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.
