Magical how we are all on the same oil change calendar now, since we've moved in as a family. It's great, just like sorority sisters living all in the same house getting on the same cycle.

I wouldn't know about sorority girls as I was a GDI and a hippy. They wouldn't look at me even if they got a new pair of Christian Louboutin Pumps out of doing so. That was ok because there were plenty of hippy chicks!

Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?
I used my extensive troubleshooting skills (I added 5 gallons of gas; when the needle didn't move, I whacked the gauge cluster twice). As percussive maintenance had no discernible effect, it seems I have a bad fuel level sender. My car _is_ a C4, but I know it wasn't below half a tank when I parked it last Saturday morning...and the battery is healthy and hasn't been disconnected recently.
This won't prevent me from making one last, pathetic trip back to the gas station so I can fill it ALL the way up and be disappointed by the outcome.
Since the list of shit I need to fix is now even longer, I need to block out a weekend and get the ol' Fräulein spiffed up before the CA Festival of Speed in October...

Dr. S's soliloquy about coinciding menstruation is, I believe, the first such musing on the site.
So we've got that going for us.

I drove mine to work - in spite of having no idea how much fuel is in the tank. But I'm edgy like that.

We'll regularly go for a year or more when the float gets stuck on hers. Seems like every time we get it reset it will get out of whack again a couple of months later (I paid for 13 gallons, I'm using 13 gallons!).
