I'm with Frunk (Jesus, did I just admit that?!?)...Motul is cheaper and readily available.

02TX996Cab and Billy would bring the wrath of Raby upon themselves if they put anything other than DT in their motors.

I've heard rumors that his motors have a sensor that can tell what oil you use and it alerts him should you deviate from his teachings. Except in the case of M1, in which case the motor simply self destructs and his phone system is updated to respond to your calls with "We're sorry, but the number you are trying to reach appears to have been ripped off the wall. Please don't try again later.".

I read somewhere that the IMS Guardian can be reflashed to detect non-DT40 oils.

(this is a lie)

Nope! No DT in my reconstructed engine since it came home per The Man. Next oil change is going to something different per further instructions. I cannot tell you what or Jake would hunt me down like I was a chicken stealing dog.

...and you could be right about the "liquid death" sensor...

I thought he required DT-40 to be used in his engines if you wanted him to talk to you should something happen. Not true?

Is this turning into an oil thread? (I bet Raby's moving to Porsche Classic!)
