gnat how's your water pump turning these days?
Don't know. That what's I have an Indy for  Meant to call him today about it (also need new breaks (fuck you Schnelly!) and a state inspection), but my back/shoulder decided to seize around lunch and I'm only just semi-mobile again.

I moved a ton (literally) of flooring on Friday, half a ton of mulch on Saturday, and all of the furniture in 2/3 of our house yesterday to get ready for the new flooring install.

Today, I stuck a pin in the back of my Gnat voodoo doll.

I feel great again.

Also, did I mention my thermostat/temp gauge is completely back to normal? I couldn't remember if I'd brought that up yet.

True story: I installed my own wood flooring on the first floor of my house in 2019 before my son was born.

Also True: I still park outside because half of that furniture is still in the garage. Only the 996 is in the garage.

You're doing better than most Californians. I have never understood the reasoning behind parking $120K worth of cars in the driveway/on the street because the garage is full of MAYBE $2500 worth of absolute shit.

Of course, I own a 996 and a C4 Corvette, which are both garaged - so I too have about $2,500 worth of stuff in my garage. Heh.

For me it's just that fun psychology of I'll install 1200 sq ft of hardwood over 3 weeks but I won't drive 16 boxes to Goodwill.

Around here Goodwill does pickups. Especially for 16 boxes of stuff.
