Milestones

Post by 02TX996Cab » Thu Feb 09, 2023 2:52 pm

Reached this one today on my way home after a great 5-day roadtrip/adventure in Texas Big Bend country:

Proud owner of a Flat6-powered 2002 996 Cab, 2016 GT4, 2019 Ford F-150 "Country Cadillac", and 2005 Ford Focus (not so hot hatch) daily driver. And a Wright ZTO 52" to keep several acres of grass-like substance neat and tidy!

That's actually the IMSB imploding.

I also just hit a milestone of some sort:

Jake worked his magic on my motor at around 66K, in part to eliminate IMSB vulnerabilities.

So, the only "fireworks" were comments from She Who Must Be Obeyed as to why I pulled over and "wasted" a few minutes getting pictures when she (and admittedly me, too) just wanted to get home!

Well, welcome to the end of odometer angst!

I will hit 70,000 in my 996tt this year, so for the Turbros, it's a high mileage car. That's fine with me - I'm never selling it anyway. That was the thing I liked best about my '99 C4 - it had 133k on it when I bought it, so I never felt guilty driving it whenever I wanted in whatever weather was out there.
