Alright fellas, let's see those 924/944/968 photos! I'll start. 1987 951, 105k miles, guards red over black. Bought in fall of 2011. This is me and my 15 year old son (back in 2011) on the day we picked it up. Bought it in Kalamazoo, MI, pic is at the Gilmore Museum. Fly out and drive home with a family member is definitely the way to go. It was my son's first car and he daily drove it to high school and the first 2 years of college. Great car that I likely will never sell (too many good memories). Just need to drive it more than I do now.
And with it's 2 siblings on display at the Kansas City Automotive Museum on a day where we were in between monthly exhibits:

I bought this 1987 924S last June. It’s very similar to the one my father-in-lawn bought new in 1988 and had for almost 20 years. Since my wife learned to drive in it, she didn’t even roll her eyes when I brought another car home. Now I just need to add a 914 to my unloved Porsche collection.

Very cool, Steve! I think the 924S is getting the recognition it deserves as a lightweight, purecsports car. And yours is definitely the right color! Question what color is the interior? I would love to see both an interior and an engine bay shot.

The interior is black. The car is an excellent shape. I’ve had the AC changed out to R134 and changed out the hood pads as they were sagging.

I need to get better about taking pictures as I don’t really have any, but I have something just as good. Here is the BAT auction that I found it on with lots of pictures. I had the winning bid, but didn’t meet reserve. Was able to purchase after direct from the seller.

Wow, Steve, that's a really, really nice one! Looks like the seller was very detail oriented - over 200 pics on the auction site. Take good care of it - you won't find any in better shape than that one.

OK, was looking through some old pics yesterday and found a bunch of pics from when we took our 951 and 996 out on a snowy parking lot a few years ago. My sons were driving the 951. We had a cop sitting on the edge of the parking lot just watching us. He didn't run us off for about 20 minutes, after several other cars showed up to watch the festivities.
