Gotta see that thing in person. Sunday, February 17th or Monday, February 18th. Whichever works for you and Schnelly. Would be fun to catch an SDRPCA event, but looks like I'm going to miss your Autocross on Saturday, February 16th (we'll be at Universal Studios Hollywood that day). Anyhow, just name a time & place.

Nice rear shot of the butt. Do you still have to cover the snorkel when it is washed or has Porsche fixed this problem on the 991?

I think my comment got buried in good week - nice looking car, Cuda! Way to make lemonade out of lemons.

Like the 997 before it, I find myself staring longer and longer at the 991. I really love the shape of that car - even more so than the 997, anymore. Really, the only thing I'd change about it is I'd take about 3 or 4 words off of the back end to make it just say "Carrera" like the 996, or totally debadge. I think the "word soup" is too much.

One of my favorite things about the 996 is the minimal badging. As if to say "You know what it is."

OTHERWISE - she's perfect, man.

Excellent! I think 17th is open in my schedule. Depending on how much time you have, I can take you on some excellent back roads where you can drive it. Will be interesting to see your thoughts on how it compares to your turbro.

Thx! The 997 is basically an upgraded 996. The 991 takes things to a much higher level. I like the badging. Lets the folks behind know "Don't F with me, I will kick your ass."

Having driven both; the finish of the 991 is WAAAAY nicer but it's not the same power delivery. Turbro will snap your neck.

I ain't fixing shit. If you haven't figured that one out by now...

Mike, if you haven't swapped your way up to a CGT (with a warranty) in three weeks, I'll be disappointed.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Working on it. This guy wants to swap for my 914, but I'm not too keen on the yellow.
