Flew the drone outside today. It was actually fun, got some good videos.
Helicopter had a hard crash, something mechanical broke.

Is that Squaw Peak in the background of the downtown pic?

Pic with water is facing NE, so that may be Squaw or Camelback. The one with Bball courts is facing S, that's South Mountain.

If it's Squaw Peak I walked halfway up that thing. Stopped had a cigarette and walked back down. I was a dedicated hiker back then.

After dicking with your drone for a while, makes you wonder why every police force isn't using them. Even if you only have one drone-equipped car per shift, that's GOTTA be cheaper than the helo-sharing agreement our PD has (we're way too podunk to have a chopper of our own)...
