Wow, I hadn't even thought of that. I just search XWeb Forums, and there are a couple of references to using it to clean out the engine block. I'll have to post up over there to see if anyone has used it to get rid of cooling pipe rust, since that is a common problem on the X1/9. It could get rid of enough of that gack that the existing piping could remain.
