Goggles are a must now. Mega guns and elite guns shoot far and hit hard. Ironically, the $10-$12 Pistols are the nastiest. They hit hard and shoot very accurately. Getting hit in the eye with one is very unpleasant.

And the technology progressed so much, it is incredible. The 30 round drum guns on the table are full auto, with automatic dart loading. Yeah, darts are loaded automatically by the feeding system into the drum. I got both in sale at $29.99 instead of regular $69.99. Gun is Nerf Elite Infinus.

Yeah, I don't buy those because aluminum tubing cut at a 45 makes amazing darts. And because the restraining order says I can't go to toy stores - turns out fat kids congregate there.

This is probably my favorite firearm - Mrs. S's paternal grandfather took it off of a German chap after Berlin fell. It's about as accurate as you'd imagine it would be, but it cycles like a champ. It’s an FN (“Belgian Browning”) model 1906. They were popular with the French/Belgian resistance; I don’t know anything more about this particular handgun except that the serial number and triple-safety design put the date of manufacture sometime around 1930-1931.

I have my maternal grandfather's service revolver from when he was an ATF agent in the 1920s-50s. Even though he was more on the revenue/audit side (versus enforcement), he was required to carry one. One day *soon* I'll clean several decades' worth of oil/grease/cosmoline from it!

My Ruger Security Six was the last gun my grandfather ever carried - taking it to the range is a cool way to feel like I'm reconnecting with someone who's been gone a long time.

He had some medical conditions later in life that affected his trigger pull strength; he had the trigger smithed down to something like 8 ounces in single-action. Trigger discipline is a MUST. Everyone who shoots that gun gets a lecture beforehand...it fires as soon as you think about pulling the trigger.

Here is my latest acquisition to upgrade my nightstand's fire power. Glock 20 SF. Will throw a Surefire XC2 on it and Trijicon night sights.

Nice acquisition! Never owned a Glock...but I’m a fan. The last time I went shopping, I planned to look at a new polymer gun - a Glock or a Springfield XD - but the Springfield 1911 took my money instead.
