A 58-year-old man has died after launching his car approximately 337 feet off of a cliff and across the San Joaquin River following a police chase.

"He unfortunately was traveling at a speed between 100-118 miles per hour," Salas told KFSN. "He left the dirt road embankment off the San Joaquin River from Dickenson Road and traveled a distance of approximately 337 feet."
Thelma and Louise AND Bo and Luke!
Dibs on the...um...valve stem caps...I'll keep an eye on my favorite auction site (Bring-a-Spatula.com).

Not a 2014 Mercedes?
I like the trooper in the green jacket. Looks like he is describing how he drove into a hard corner at the track the previous weekend.

At least he didn't have his dog with him like the Corvette guy. And the "bring a spatula" comment was dark...keep up the great work!

2004 is probably what they meant. That's totally the hole for a headlight from a W203 C class.

Ah...I'm not a Merc person, but looks like your are right. I just looked at the CNN article and Holy Sh!t he cleared the water!!!! That is impressive and came in a tree top level. Evil Knievel would be jealous.

His landing was consistent with most of Evel's...
Speaking of Mr. Knievel - the Richard Hammond/Evel Knievel Netflix special was depressing. Interesting, but depressing.

Nah, that a 2004 E class. Recognize that wheel anywhere..
Also, that's the airmatic compressor on the ground in front of it.
