Hey Doc, any progress? I just dropped off the t-shirts to our t-shirt lady today. I told her that I would forward a design in the next couple of days. If you are stacked, no problem, I can just use the design shown above. But, I didn't want to move forward without checking in one more time. Thanks!Dr_Strangelove (whew!) wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 2:45 pmFRUNKenstein wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 2:29 pm
We have the good Doctor's promise to gen something up. Maybe that will transpire between now and Friday night.
I'll do my best If I can't finish by Friday what are the odds I could get an extension till Monday? I should be able to finish the one I started by then at least...

Yes, actually! I really wanted to do our logo in the Carrera script that Porsche uses for their model badges. Problem is - no such font exists. This means that yours truly went and hand-lettered this for us. Yes I know, you don't deserve me. Heres some options:
My favorite w/ car silhouette only:
Some Phrase Versions:
Obviously some tweaking and fine tuning will need to be done if we pick a version with a phrase underneath the logo. If we get a consensus on what we want to run with and I need to fine-tune the final version I will do so!

I will buy several of the printer version(s)...awesome.

Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.
Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

What are the color options? I'm in for at least one of each if they come in something other than that godawful color

LOL from what I understand the shirts are purchased and are red heather, so I agree that white would look the best, secondarily something very high-contrast for readability.
If we blow past the first wave of shirts and are looking for more options, etc. I'll talk to my neighbor who is a professional screen printer and see what he can do for us.

Re: 996outpost.com - T-shirt Time!
I agree - I like the first one. Looks great. I promised the lady that she could do the initial run, so let’s do the first dozen using the shirts I already bought. Then we can switch over to your local guy. The issue will be handling orders in the future - I don’t mind doing the first batch of 12 shirts, but I don’t want to deal with taking orders from now on.
So, here’s my plan:
- Doc: I will pm you my email address. Please send me the artwork file
- Everybody else: send me a pm with the size you want. I will send you a paypal invoice once I figure out the cost. With postage, I’m guessing around $12 to $15, depending on your size (XXL size is about $3 more, believe it or not)
