I recognize that it fits the style associated to the car and it looks good from that perspective, but I'm not a fan. It feels too much and too busy to me (said by someone that loves a good Pasha interior!).

Something subtle and understated like you did in the X1/9 could look really good.

Come on Man! You like Pasha and not a Tartan plaid!!?? Besides I don't think Frunky is an understated kind of guy. Witness his collection of "arrest me red" cars!

I like a good tartan, I just don't care for the effect here. It just looks too busy compared to the rest of the interior. Maybe if some additional highlights are made over the rest of the interior I wouldn't find it so jarring.

It's definitely not for everyone. But . . . I can maybe put some permanent Christmas lights on it?

Put those lights on the underbody and I'll post the nodding Jack Nicholson meme too.

j\k, looks good! I think the tartan is much more at home in this '75 than it would be in a modern car. Save for maybe a GTI.

I like the plaid seats. I'd swap to a stock steering wheel.

Thanks Cuda. I looked for a stock wheel before I asked for this one for Christmas. But they are hard to find and pricey. At least the one I just installed is a bit more classic looking than the old one.

I forgot to finalize the headlight project. Over Christmas, I installed a set of Grote LED headlights from Advance Auto. $217 for the pair after a coupon.

How do you like the LEDs? Pretty bright with super white light right?
