I'll have to look up the Durametric tool and maybe ask around the local PCA guys too.
I did climb under the car today to take another look and I took some pics of the external chain tensioners that are visible. Does anyone notice an issue? Seems something is off.. or at least not what it should be as described in the "101 Projects" book.
The book states that the circles embossed on the block and heads are to match the tensioners.. mine are not matched up. Its my guess that the 2 that are swapped were put back in when the IMS bearing was done and from the pics in the book, those 2 look almost identical, so it shouldn't be an issue... whereas the 3rd tensioner you cant see without removing the AC compressor is a different length.
The oil seep I'm seeing on the drivers side I think is actually coming from the camshaft plugs on the end of the head. When I do the engine out service I'll take care of all that.
