fascinating.OceanBlue2000 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 10:03 amCan't wait for this, it actually looks really good. Looking up the GT40, I was surprised to find that it originally was built with the 289,then they bumped it up to the 302. Probably not the same engine that went in Mustangs of that era, but I was surprised it wasn't something more exotic like a V10 or something. Seems that the advantage over Ferrari was the power/weight ratio?
Cool stuff. Don't read the story ahead of time, I discovered a giant spoiler that I'm not happy I discovered.

Holy CRAP! I had seen the short version but never the whole vid. That is one scary dude! Seems there is money to be made in pushing religion. Just remember he is not alone. There are/were too many to list who have/had similar life styles. Crystal Cathedral and Lakewood Church comes to mind.Dgi 07 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 5:35 amPrivate Jet, Armoured cars, Private security.Kalashnikov wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 4:21 pm For those of you who haven't seen this yet.... Look up John Oliver's bits on the subject and the religion he started (as far as the Federal Government was concerned). Hilarious presentation about just how scary these scammers are.32wildbilly wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 6:14 amHoly CRAP! I had seen the short version but never the whole vid. That is one scary dude! Ah. Yeah. Here is the dry version, but you still need to find the Last Week Tonight clips.32wildbilly wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 8:03 amI'll have to look that up. John Oliver is incredibly funny.
