FTW. x2 I come to car forums to get away from that crap. They are my escape from the world's crackpipe...

I am in agreement that political discussions don't belong here. We have a place for them so that those not interested don't have to go read it if they don't want.
Can we all simply agree to that and stop talking about the subject now?

How about we all endeavor to ignore posts we don't like, and we'll all move forward like the semi-adult adults we are.
Right now, politics permeates our lives more than pretty much any time I can remember; I don't remember a more polarizing time in my life. I'd prefer that people feel free to post what they're thinking when they feel impassioned to do so, even if it happens to be in the wrong subforum of some incredibly unimportant website.

Well, I can sleep inside the house tonight. It was a "No Sale" at $36,100. Apparently it was the owner of a car dealership's personal car. They started the bidding at $39,000, but had to drop down to $36,000 to get a bid, then only one more at $36,100. Tough to get more than that with the spoiler stuck in the up position, missing a center cap and quite a few imperfections in the interior.FRUNKenstein wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 8:06 amYeah, as much as I love tan interior, it just doesn't wear well. That seat could be dyed for a couple of hundred bucks, though. There are a few other spots like that on the interior though.32wildbilly wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 7:52 am Driver seat shows a lot of wear for 57k miles. That and the drivers floor mat is in there sideways I would say it's a clapped out track rat!
I am going to watch it online. If for some reason it sells for under $30k, I'll bid on it and risk the wrath of the wife.

Got to read through the July C&D. They had a first quick test of new Supra/BMW. Either the Toyota is really underrating the power or test mule cars were tuned to impress the testers. 3.8 seconds 0-60, 12.3 quarter at 113 mph, and 1.07g max lateral. For 335 hp car, looks very suspect. Looks closer to 400-425hp.

Thanks Dr. No owning one once warranty runs out.
Timing chain on the back, means a pita service every 60k miles. Plastic intake manifold with non-removable intercooler? Plastic crap everywhere. No gaskets, just silicone.

Here's a pretty picture to make up for using the T word earlier:
Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.
