Flew the drone outside today. It was actually fun, got some good videos.
Helicopter had a hard crash, something mechanical broke.

Is that Squaw Peak in the background of the downtown pic?

Pic with water is facing NE, so that may be Squaw or Camelback. The one with Bball courts is facing S, that's South Mountain.

If it's Squaw Peak I walked halfway up that thing. Stopped had a cigarette and walked back down. I was a dedicated hiker back then.Kalashnikov wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 5:54 pm Pic with water is facing NE, so that may be Squaw or Camelback. You were a part of the epic thread... That saw me send it off to the new life.
Re: Drones, quadcopters, and FPV flight
After dicking with your drone for a while, makes you wonder why every police force isn't using them. Even if you only have one drone-equipped car per shift, that's GOTTA be cheaper than the helo-sharing agreement our PD has (we're way too podunk to have a chopper of our own)...
Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.
Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.
