Nice!
Now the question is if you'll get your car back before I get the P!g back
So what was your reasoning for the stage 1 vs the other options?

I'll let 808 answer for himself, but I can tell you in my opinion the Stage 1 is an ass kicker and for a street car it is more than enough to scare the shit out of you and get you arrested for being way too far over the speed limit! Supposed to be 70f+ this weekend and I need to pull it out early to get some fun time miles on it.

Super cool news, Bill. I knew it was only a matter of time before your 996 cost more than mine

I'm just about to drop the window decal for that ride into the mailbox.
Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Very cool! Congrats not only on the new hp, but also on the success that’s made it affordable for you.

Re: I Pulled The Trigger!
Reliability was my main concern.
I live on an island and stock power is plenty enough for me, so 3.6 bumped to 3.8 with more torque sounds just right.
I figured I can't go wrong with the price I paid for entry to the 996 world... I still have a low mile good running (knock on wood) motor to sell that might help someone else next year.

Oh it will have more than "stock power"! HP and torque becomes a different story with a Jake engine.808Bill wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 6:48 am Reliability was my main concern.
