Yeah, 928/944 drivers are the worst.
*Disclaimer - The term "drivers" does not apply to all 928/944 owners. You have to get one to start before it can be driven.

The one I bought a couple of months ago at the auction had 3 different sized tires on it, so when anyone test drove it, it acted like it had a bad transmission. I paid roughly the equivalent of the change I found in its ashtray and under its seat cushions.

Replaced the bow thruster control on my boat - It was getting tired and contacts worn so it didn't always engage and the flat buttons were a pain in the ass to push and locate when manouvering at dock.
Upgraded to the "joystick" model - So much better

Billy, you still have the 300zx? My father owned a 280Z back in the 80s. Great memories.32wildbilly wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2018 7:57 am Misc. and random...How bout this for misc/random? 1993 Nissan 300zx 2+2. Purchased in 1994 with 12k miles. Now has @ 104k. I thought this was a great sports car until I drove the 911. I now call this the lead sled.

The 280ZX was my 16 yr old self's obsession. When these ads came out with the concept of leasing one (a radical idea back in 1980), I hatched a plan to scratch together enough cash to lease one for 30 days.
Sadly, the plan never came to fruition.

Yep! Mostly sits in the driveway getting lonely since buying the Pcar. Fun car but not a "modern" sports car. Torn between sending it away or spending a few bucks on it and keeping.b3freak wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2018 8:01 pmBilly, you still have the 300zx? My father owned a 280Z back in the 80s. My prostate has never screamed. Well, there was that one spring break in Key West, but the records are still sealed.
