UPDATE! RE: memberships on our YouTube channel
Hi Everyone,
I would like to give you a really cool update to our Rennvision channel on YouTube. YouTube has selected us to offer memberships to our channel. This opportunity is normally only afforded to well established channels that have a minimum of 30,000 subscribers. Because of our good standing with YouTube (knock on wood), they have allowed us to offer memberships. This is not to be confused with the "subscriptions" feature. Basically, a YouTube subscription only allows us to notify you when new videos are posted, but doesn't have any more perks for the viewer or the content producer.
Membership provides our production team additional funds to support the channel at a higher level and in turn enables us to offer more exclusive content that would normally be sold via retailers like Pelican Parts, Amazon, etc. There are currently 4 different levels of membership and it's our plan to roll out more educational videos to help the DiYr and professional alike, but we need YOUR support to make this possible.
If you would like to join, here is the direct link:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvIKNF ... y9ZvA/join
Please let us know if you have any suggestions or advice on the matter and thank you for supporting the Rennvision YouTube channel!
All the best,
Bobby

Thank you so much!!!
This is going to be a great. I'm excited about what's in store. Jake Raby is planning on expanding his technical offerings into the Aircooled VW and Porsche areas. We have others in the Knowledge Gruppe that have agreed to offer classes on topic surrounding these cars too.
I'm super excited!

Hahaha... that's funny. Many people think Raby has a huge collection of modern Porsches. All he will own is the old Aircooled stuff along with lots of military and Porsche tractors. Surprised me!32wildbilly wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 10:59 amPorsche made aircooled cars!!?? Like a lawnmower??!! Really!!??b3freak wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 10:28 am

When I was shopping for a 914 a couple of weeks ago, I came across a “Jake Ruby” engined car. Apparently he developed a kit to turn the 1.7 and 1.8 liter cars into 2,056 cc engines. The kit is well regarded in the 914 world. Makes 125 hp (from a ~80 hp stock engine).
