I'm beginning to suspect that your positive COVID test was faked to get out of a procedure that you didn't want to go through and to get away from the family for awhile
Seriously though, how's it going? Results of the follow up test?
Did one follow up test Tuesday and a second yesterday, both positive. However, on researching it, a negative test following a positive test is not part of the criteria for ending isolation. Apparently, a PCR test will show positive for up to 90 days and an antigen test for several weeks following infection. The criteria is 5 days isolation after onset of symptoms and another 5 days of wearing a mask and limiting interaction. A negative test only is relevant 5 days after a prior negative test in asymptomatic people who have a known exposure.
Long story short, my 10 days are up after today, but the BoF may not let me out of the basement until her mother goes back to Spain next Monday.
As for me, I only had very, very mild symptoms last Thursday through Sunday (almost asymptomatic), then no symptoms whatsoever since last Sunday.
