Seats 73A and 73K on a BA 747 are the best. (Can you tell I've flown a wee bit too much over the decades?)
I prefer most foreign carriers over US carriers for international travel. Whilst there's always some give-and-take on physical layout of the planes, I've found flight crews to be, on average, much more efficient and pleasant on foreign carriers. The one exception in my experience was Continental back in the early/mid 2000's (a few years before the "merger" with United) which was a pleasure to use.

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
You guys are traveling above my pay grade. So far this year 36 flights mostly on Southwest and the rest on Delta. I refuse to fly American/US Air as they have left me stranded on 50% of the recent flight I have taken. I used to fly United until they merged with Continental - United was among the best and Continental the absolute worst, I thought the merger would improve Continental instead it reduced United.

TAP, Air China and Lufthansa were pretty good pre COVID. Right now, it is all going down IMO.
I flew to Greece in summer of 2021, as it was the only country in Europe that was open. Flew with UA as AA didn't have reasonable flight times to Crete. Booked flights through Houston, something changed in UA system, they had to rebook me....I begged them to not send me through ORD, they did. On flights there, plane going to ORD gets delayed due to tornado in Chicago, I land one hour after my Munich flight was meant to depart, they kept plane sitting for me. Lady checking passport starts arguing with me over German COVID rules, finally relents and lets me board. On way back, again end up late in ORD, have to go through customs and get the bag, miss flight to PHX.
Had to sleep with my mask on in BC, had flight attendant keep reprimanding me about only dropping mask down for drinks, had paperwork for every country I was landing in to prove I am vaccinated and only passing through, had to fill out contact forms in Munich to enter lounge and sit by myself, had all paperwork and COVID tests for flights back.
Couldn't do UA after this trip. It was hell.

Ok...we live in a small city neighborhood. Our property backs up to 2 acres of woods. We have a ton of foxes(the animal) running around. In fact we saw one cruising through our backyard this morning. I have never ever heard a fox say "ring-a-ding-ding."
What is that all about? More importantly why is that about? Who in their right mind would write/sing such a song?
Drugs are bad M'kay...

Way to bust out a 2013 meme, Billy. That's impressive.

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
My reference was because of the stupid azz commercials on tv lately. Don't know the product so it is not only an irritating commercial but ineffective as well. I was complaining and the wife googled the song and played it for me...pissed me off and confused me even more.5chn3ll wrote: ↑Mon Jun 05, 2023 8:19 am Way to bust out a 2013 meme, Billy. and yes I broke the "never ever open anything from Herr 5chn3ll" cardinal sin...again. I claim advanced age. Yeah that's the ticket...advanced age.

It delights me that my chicanery was successful.

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
Oh yeah? I won a...stair running contest at work. I ran up 8 flights of stairs in 38.52 seconds in Arizona heat. All because guy holding a record ...made it personal. Now I have a trophy in my office. Guy I beat said he is coming after me...in response I bought Ivan Drago costume, so I can wreck him in it again with "I must break you" line.
