I'm almost bought a new Mustang. Glad I didn't. Didn't hold up on the test drive!

Mustangs are not known for their acceleTation properties. They are much more famous for randomly targeting and striking the crowds standing on the side of the road.

With that being said, I loved my 5.0 when I had it. The car was fun, in a stupid way. No ABS, no traction, 300lb/ft of torque down low, and 225/16 tires....and drum brakes on the rear. Amazing at doing burnouts and swinging donuts; horrible at going straight, stopping, accelerating, and turning.

Wow. I really like that shot gun. The sound when racking would make me shit myself if that was intended for me...

Hah... I literally just left that place. Just got home from Knowledge Gruppe 102 Hands-on class. Got the opportunity to get up close and personal with both of those cars. You could eat your lunch off of the engine bay of that Thing. It was a work of art. I didn't watch the whole video so I don't know if he covers this but he told us that the Thing was his dad's, he bought it and owned it for 10 years before he realized the vin numbers matched the original paperwork his dad was still holding onto. Such a cool story.

I'm gonna do a write up of my experience for the forum sooner-or-later. Just going to take me a sec to organize some photos and gather my thoughts. Spoiler alert: it ruled.

That's awesome, Dr.! I'm looking forward to you sharing your experience. There aren't a whole lot of guys at the top of their game in any industry that offer the opportunity to learn directly from them in a setting like that. I'm jealous!
